BACKGROUND

I have been a licensed cosmetologist since 2001. In the beginning of my career I knew there were endless possibilities in the industry. I had and still do aspire to explore many of those possibilities. I began my career in the salon atmosphere. I wanted to learn as much as I could of the basics and precision and then move up to creating art. I am currently still in a salon and hope to be until my road takes me in another direction. I have been working at Linea salon since 2003.

I have been gradually building my freelance career. I started out doing hair and makeup for fashion shows in the Chicago club scene. I have worked with companies like Hot Threads and Glam Live. From there I have built a wonderful network of photographers, multi media, models and artists. I started doing more and more photo shoots building my portfolios.

My goals for the future are to expand my knowledge of other fields and to work and learn in cities around the world. I believe continuing to refine your art is very important. I have some experience in modeling, photography, and in fashion and will continue to learn. I would like to study, not only in Chicago but also in such cities as, London, Tokyo, L.A and NEW YORK. I believe those cities are some of the most inspirational to the hair, fashion and music industries. It is important to fully understand a creation in order to excel. The options are endless and I plan on continuing my passion and welcome any future opportunities.

I have always wanted to be an entrepreneur and have had so many opportunities. So I thought it would be a good idea to run with it to share my talents with the world. I believe in personal style and if you are going to have a look, do it all the way and rok~it!
